Korça, The Little Paris of Albania, is a city of beautiful intellectual and artistic traditions and one of the largest and most important cultural and economic centers of Albania.
Located in the southeastern part of the country, this enchanting city is known for its typical neighborhoods made up of low-lying houses and charming cobblestone streets.
Surrounded by a considerable number of hills and mountains, Korça borders the Morava Mountain to the east, the area of Gora, Voskopoja, and Vithkuq to the west, the Mountain of Qarri to the south, and Mali i Thatë to the north.
Founded in the 5th-6th centuries, the city of Korça is one of the earliest inhabited cities in Southeast Europe, as evidenced by archaeological excavations and the emergence of ancient Illyrian fortifications.
